ERLANGER, KY – Local confectioner Perfetti Van Melle announces that Dan Hamilton has recently joined Perfetti Van Melle as Vice President, Sales (US and Canada).

A 1986 graduate of the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, Hamilton holds a BS in criminal justice with a minor in political science. He is an experienced sales leader with a strong classic foundation built over the course of 27 years with Kraft Foods. He also possesses substantial entrepreneurial experience gained in his most recent role as Chief Operating Officer of Sustainable Forest Products.

While at Kraft Foods, Hamilton held various positions across the sales organization. His most recent title at Kraft was Customer Vice President of Channel Sales, reporting to the President of their food service division. Hamilton was responsible for the sales and customer development of club, c-store, drug, natural, e-commerce and specialty retailers. Managing a team of 80 people, Hamilton delivered more than $100M growth in sales.
