ERLANGER, KY – Confectioner Perfetti Van Melle announces that Rachel Chambers, Senior Marketing Director of the Airheads brand, has been named Vice President, Marketing of Perfetti Van Melle (US and Canada). Chambers is succeeding Sylvia Buxton, who held the position until recently becoming the President and CEO, Perfetti Van Melle North America.
Chambers joined Perfetti Van Melle in February 2015 as Marketing Director of the Airheads brand. In 2017, Chambers was promoted to the role of Senior Brand Director, Airheads. Since joining Perfetti Van Melle, Chambers has been responsible for delivering the P&L, brand positioning, marketing and innovation pipeline for the Airheads brand.

An accomplished marketing leader with more than twenty years of experience, Chambers holds a BA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame, as well as an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Having worked with such companies as Starbucks and Procter & Gamble, Chambers has managed some of the biggest brands in the US market.
